I recently had a buyer/client of mine ask me, "why do you re-invest in this newest technology so heavily and so often, it can't be cost effective". We discussed this at length. It made me ponder the philosophy of why-do-it-well when so many take a different path?
He argued it wasn't in the interest of the highest ROI if I kept buying the "latest and greatest gadget" as I could afford them. I had to agree...............in part.

I'va added an emerging technology to the company inventory.
Not 3, not 5, but 10 watt LED Pars. The fixtures look like ETC Source 4 pars, and take the same gel frame, but the similarity stops there. They have 18-10 watt LEDs in a RGBW format. They refresh at 400 Hz so video flicker is non-existant. And they are BRIGHT, Those are mostly truss warmers and uplight fixtures but excel at many functions .

The tornado of 4.16.11 missed us. DID NOT miss the Lowes Home Improvement or the St. Andrews Community.
Those are near total losses. Drove to a show at Amra's that night and went through the S. Saunders St. devastation.
Our hearts go out to all that suffered.

In time for the JCSU 2010 Graduation, the top and stage were setup at the 50 yardline. That was a winter 2010 project of mine.
